Soybeans led Missouri’s crop table by value of production in USDA’s 2025 state overview.
Missouri’s 2025 soybean crop had an estimated production value of $2.876 billion, rounded from the USDA figure. Farmers harvested 5.53 million acres. That gives the campaign a substantial local agricultural foundation: the bean is already part of Missouri’s economy, even when its connection to tofu is less familiar.

Soybeans serve many markets. Food-grade varieties and supply chains connect suitable beans to tofu makers. State crop totals do not tell us how much becomes tofu, and this campaign does not establish the origin of any particular product.
